A valid Canadian mailing address is required. One entry per person. Open to Canadian residents only. Residents of Quebec are not eligible.

All entries must be entered on-line, at www.qwf.org or www.aelaq.org. Entrants must include their name, email address, and return mailing address, as well as where they saw the contest, and must answer a skill-testing question.

The contest begins on Monday, March 8, 2010, and closes on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:59 pm. QWF/AELAQ is not responsible for on-line entries that are lost or misdirected. The winners will be selected by no later than July 9, 2010, and will be notified by email. If we do not receive a response to our email within 3 weeks, a new winner will be chosen.

Entrants may enter only once for the book giveaway.

There will be three prize winners, one from each region targeted by the campaign. Winners will be selected at random from entries with the correct answer to the skill-testing question. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.

Contest is open to all Canadian residents over the age of 18 years, except the residents of the province of Quebec, employees of The Quebec Writers' Federation and The Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, or members of their immediate families.

QWF/AELAQ will not be responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest.

The winners' names will be posted at www.qwf.org and www.aelaq.org at the end of the contest period. Entering the contest constitutes consent to the use of the winner's statement for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of The Quebec Writers' Federation and The Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec and with no additional compensation or further permission (except where prohibited by law). Entry names will NOT be used for subsequent mail solicitation.
