Neal, Christopher

Upon ending an 18-year career as a communications manager at the World Bank, Christopher Neal returned from Washington D.C. to his native Montreal in 2016. He had started that career in the 1980s as a journalist with the Montreal Gazette, followed by the Ottawa Citizen, and several years as a freelance correspondent in Latin America. He has also served in communications management roles, including as Director-General of Communications for the Canadian International Development Agency, as well as at two international development NGOs. Throughout, he has edited and contributed to numerous corporate publications, while also publishing occasional essays in books, specialized journals, and mainstream newspapers in English, French, and Spanish.
