DESCRIPTION:10th Anniversary of the Knowlton Literary Festival from October 18th to 20th\, 2019. In addition to a poetry night – a tribute to Susan Briscoe – the festival will feature writers Louise Penny\, Shelagh Rogers\, Kim Thuy\, Ann-Marie Macdonald\, Katheen Miller\, Guy Vanderhaeghe and Barry Estabrook. Sheree Fitch will lead two writing courses on Saturday and Sunday morning. DESCRIPTION:Curated by the inimitable Ian Ferrier\, the Words and Music Show is the QWF’s literary cabaret. It usually takes place the third Sunday of the month at Casa del Popolo\, 4873 boul. St-Laurent. It started in 2000\, and is Montreal’s longest running spoken word\, poetry\, literature\, performance\, and music show featuring top names from this city and across the country. Doors open at 8:00 and the show starts at 9:00. $5 on the door for QWF Members ($7 for non-Members). \nFull lineup announced closer to the date!
