SUMMARY:Information Session: Canada Council Research and Creation Grants
DESCRIPTION:“The Research and Creation component of Explore and Create supports the initial stages of the creative process. Canadian artists\, artistic groups and arts organizations can apply to develop and make creative works. Grants provide support for creative research\, creation and project development.”                                                               \nFrom the Canada Council of the Arts website \n  \nIn this free 90-minute session\, delivered on Zoom\, Canada Council program officer Andrew Steinmetz will give a brief presentation on the Council’s Research and Creation component and then answer questions. \n  \nWho should attend: \n\nPeople preparing applications for the April 8 deadline who have specific questions or who want to make sure they’ve covered all the bases.\nPeople who are considering preparing an application for the October 6 deadline who want a quick overview of the grant program to see if they’re eligible and to get some tips on how to prepare a successful application.\n\nInformation on the Research and Creation Grant \n  \nHow to Register: \nThe workshop is open to all. There is no registration fee\, but you must register to attend. You may drop in to get your question answered at any point during the session or come to the whole meeting. \nSend an email to riley@qwf.org with “Canada Council Q&A Session” in the subject line and you’ll receive a link to participate. \n  \nThis workshop is co-produced by the Quebec Writers’ Federation and the Canada Council for the Arts.
