DESCRIPTION:Quebec Writers’ Federation and Crime Writers of Canada invite you to a joint presentation and networking event on Friday March 31\, from 4-6pm at the Adair Auditorium\, Atwater Library. \n\n\n\nCrime writing includes several different genres. The event will begin with a short talk featuring four representative crime writers reading excerpts from their work and discussing the differences between the various types of crime writing. Featured writers are: \n\n\n\n\nMichael Kent (Detective Novels)\n\n\n\nAnn Lambert (Suspense)\n\n\n\nRussell Fralich (Thriller)\n\n\n\nAnne Fotheringham (Cozy/Woman Sleuth Mysteries)\n\n\n\n\nFollowing the presentation\, there will be an opportunity for socializing and mystery-themed games. Light refreshments will be served\, and panelists’ books will be available for purchase at the venue. \n\n\n\nThis event is free for all; we encourage writers of all skill level with an interest in crime writing to come learn\, mingle\, and have fun! Feel free to bring a friend. We do request that you RSVP below so we can appropriately plan refreshments for the day.

Set in Jamaica\, the book targets readers who love an edge-of-your-seat thriller with conspiracies\, betrayal\, martial arts\, sex and revenge. The book launch date ties into the story\, honouring International Transgender Day of Visibility\, March 31\, at the Jamaica Association of Montreal. The book launch is hosted by awarded author Nigel Thomas. \nThis strong sequel welcomes the return of Eddie Barrow\, a Montreal author and amateur sleuth\, and his outspoken best friend Corey Stephenson.
