DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, May 29\, 2024\, 5:00–7:00 pm EDT\n\n\n\nJoin us for a schmoozing soiree welcoming the sunny season with QWF’s Summertime Singalong! \n\n\n\nWe’ll be hosting a 5 a 7 karaoke social event at the Community Digital Arts Hub on Wednesday\, May 29. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow writers\, showcase your vocal talents\, and enjoy some summer-themed fun. Whether you have a heart-wrenching ballad\, an upbeat dance song\, or a fun ditty to the sun\, we want to hear it! \n\n\n\nWe encourage everyone to come in their best summer attire — think bright colours\, floral prints\, and beach vibes! There will be book prizes for best performances\, best dressed attendees\, and others. \n\n\n\nBring your own beer\, wine\, or other drinks! Snacks will be served. This event is free and open to everyone\, so bring your friends (and future fans). Using the Pomodoro technique\, participants write in 25-minute bursts\, with 5-minute breaks in between. \n\n\n\nThis event is for QWF members only.
