The Quebec Writers’ Federation is delighted to announce the calls for submissions for the 2025 QWF Awards to honour excellence in the categories of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, first book, translation, spoken word, and children’s and young adult literature.
Six prizes of $3000 each will be awarded, along with an additional $3000 to be awarded to one to three spoken word performers at the jury’s discretion. All winners will be announced at the 2025 QWF Awards Gala on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Cabaret Lion d’Or in Montreal.
Those who are submitting a book for the Concordia University First Book Prize may simultaneously submit the book for the fiction, non-fiction or poetry prize, but must complete the two separate forms for both prizes to and pay two separate submission fees.
The deadline to submit to the six book prizes is Sunday , June 1, 2025, 11:59 pm ET.
