The QWF Literary Database of Quebec English-language Authors is an ever-expanding online directory of over 2000 books by over 1100 Quebec writers publishing books in English. It is a digital catalogue of “The QWF Collection,” a physical collection housed by our partners, the Atwater Library and Computer Centre and the Montreal Children’s Library
You can search the database by author, by title, or by genre. You can also find out which books were shortlisted or selected as winners of the annual QWF Literary Awards.
Background
The QWF Literary Database was launched by the Quebec Writers’ Federation (QWF) in the winter of 2006 as part of the year-long celebration of Montreal as UNESCO’s “Book Capital of the World.” The launch was supported by the Montreal World Book Capital Committee and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
