Yolk is excited to announce its second annual Literary Oktoberfest! Join us for a night inspired by the atmospheric outdoor beer gardens of Oktoberfest and designed to connect writers, agents, publishers, booksellers, and literary support organizations in the city of Montreal. The evening will begin with three keynote speakers—Nour Abi-Nakhoul (Editor-in-Chief, Maisonneuve Magazine), Ashley Obscura (Founder & Managing Editor, Metatron Press), and Lori Schubert (Executive Director, Quebec Writers’ Federation)sharing insights about their publishing journeys, and conclude with two readings by prominent authors Liz Howard and Neil Smith. Throughout the evening there will be time to meet new writers, industry professionals, and discover what this city has to offer.
