For four months, seven emerging writers and one emerging translator have worked to hone their craft through the QWF Mentorship Program. Each has received one-on-one guidance from a professional mentor to help them make the transition to the next stage of their career. Now, their journey culminates in a public reading, at which the mentees will present an excerpt from their work in progress.

In addition to the 2026 QWF Mentorship Program cohort, this year’s reading will feature the first full cohort from QWF’s new Youth Mentorship Program, a Big Sibling–style partnership designed to help young writers gain confidence and develop their writing skills. With twelve readers, this will be our largest mentorship reading yet. Don’t miss it!

Join us in person at the Adair Auditorium or online via Zoom.
