Book Launch: Hope and Resilience in the Time of Covid
We are pleased to announce the launch of “Hope and Resilience in the Time of Covid,” an anthology of community writing and artistry, with submissions from adults and children across the world. The launch is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th, 2:00-4:00 PM, an electronic session to be presented on Zoom.
The book is a collection of more than 160 contributions in a variety of media, incorporating short stories, memoirs, haiku, poetry, photos, drawings, and paintings. “Hope and Resilience” is edited by Rebecca Welton with support from an editorial board of writers from the Eastern Townships. Contributors comprise Quebec creatives supplemented by writing and art from other provinces and several foreign countries.
This book is a production of the Write Here, Write Now! project, originally launched with the support of the federal government’s Canadian Heritage programme and now under the sponsorship of Bishop’s University Lifelong Learning Academy (BULLA).
