When a young Hutterite man is found murdered in a luxurious home in the city, Detective Michael Shelter is pulled into a case like none other. To find the killer, Shelter must win the trust of a rural Hutterite colony where the faithful live apart from the outside world, following a devout way of life passed down for 500 years.
