Join us for a public reading on January 24th at the Hôtel Gault in Old Montreal. Organized by NatureCulture, with QWF as a promotional partner, the event will feature readings by QWF members Lise Weil, Sarah Wolfson, Ian Thomas Shaw, Suzanne Keeptwo, Tina Wayland, Tamara Nazywalskyj, Nadine Neema, Su J Sokol, and Carolyne van der Meer,

Books by featured readers will be available for purchase, and five open mic slots will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds go to Indigenous environmental rights organization RAVEN Trust.

The reading is part of NatureCulture’s Montreal Environmental Writers’ Conference, January 19–26. The retreat, which includes meals, literary conversations, a workshop, and more, is open to both out-of-town participants and local participants who wish to participate in the daytime activities. Learn more about the daytime retreat.
