Fabled Films/Fabled Films Press is a children’s publisher based in New York City with offices in Montreal.  Fabled is currently soliciting writers and editors for its reimagined Classics Collection, where BIPOC/#ownvoices writers of communities marginalized by race, gender, orientation, and disability reimagine works from the Victorian canon as contemporary, middle-grade fiction. An example from this collection is Pippa Park Raises Her Game, based on Dickens’ Great Expectations by first-time author Erin Yun.

Please join author and Fabled Films creative director Tracey Hecht for a discussion and Q&A of this opportunity as well as upcoming projects for the press.  All attendees will be invited to submit applications for review and consideration.

RSVP below. Zoom details will be sent out a day before the event.
