Presented by NexGen MultiArts Festival & the Book Club of Kabir Cultural Centre, Montréal, Garden of Literary Delights is an annual event celebrating Canadian authors of South Asian origin, curated by QWF member, Veena Gokhale.

Featured authors:

Anuja Varghese, Giller-prize winning writer, reading from A Kiss of Crimson Ash, a medieval India-inspired romantasy. The novel is part of a trilogy published by Viking.

Zeenat Nagree, art writer, curator, living between Bombay & Montréal, reading from her first novel, My Summer Vacation (Vehicule Press)

Acclaimed Afghan-Canadian author, Jamaluddin Aram, reading from his essay collection, The Blood of Things (Penguin Random House). His debut novel, Nothing Good Happens in Wazirabad on Wednesday, won the 2024 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize in Literary Fiction.

Author, Veena Gokhale, reading from her latest work, Annapurna’s Bounty, Indian Food Legends Retold (Dundurn Press)

And introducing Joie de Livres, a trendy, bilingual, local bookstore, in charge of the book sale.
