About the Language Portal of Canada
The Portal is a highly useful website for writers and translators alike. It houses TERMIUM Plus®, the Government of Canada’s terminology data bank, which offers millions of terms in English and French, more than 200 000 terms in Spanish and more than 20 000 terms in Portuguese, plus abbreviations and definitions, in a wide variety of specialized fields.
