Discover SODEP—Quebec’s association of cultural magazines—and learn about the history of magazines in the province.

The Société de développement des périodiques culturels québécois (SODEP) is an association dedicated to the defense and promotion of Quebec’s cultural magazines. Founded in 1978, SODEP brings together nearly 50 rich, diverse, and unique magazines devoted to the arts, literature, social issues, history, and heritage. Its mandate is to make cultural magazines accessible to all and to offer its members a variety of services to support their professional development.

Come attend the Quebec Writers’ Federation’s next Lunch and Learn where Léah Pitre-Gaspari, SODEP’s business development coordinator, will deliver a short presentation on the history of magazines in Quebec and about SODEP’s work in developing and supporting the industry. A Q&A period will follow.

This session is free and open to all. Register to get the Zoom link.
