On Tuesday, November 25, QWF presents a free online screening of Ageless, an engaging new documentary from the Cummings Centre that confronts ageism and its impact. The 45-minute film will be followed by a discussion facilitated by QWF Executive Director Lori Schubert.
Ageism affects every generation. In Ageless, director Joshua Dorsey explores age-based biases through firsthand interviews with participants from English-speaking communities in Quebec, including Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay, Gatineau, and the Eastern Townships. The film features the perspectives of both younger and older people and identifies ways to counter ageism that all of us can apply in our daily lives.
You’ll be invited to share your own experiences of ageism—whether in the public arena, in the workplace, or in the book industry.
