Presenting carte blanche!

In this Lunch and Learn session, join Editor-in-Chief Greg Santos and Translation Editor Nicola Danby as they present an overview of carte blanche, QWF’s online literary magazine. Greg and Nicola will explain the submission, selection, editorial, and publication processes involved in running carte blanche. There will also be a dedicated Question and Answer period where attendees can ask questions about getting their work published in carte blanche, as well as the nitty-gritties of being part of this long-running institution.

The event will take place in time for the June 15 deadline of carte blanche‘s 49th Issue “Play.” If you intend to submit for that issue, or if you want to be armed with the knowledge of what editors are looking for in a submission, don’t miss out on this session!

Free and open to all.

To get the Zoom link: Register by filling out the RSVP form below. After filling out the RSVP form, you will receive the Zoom link by email the day before the event or shortly before it begins. For problems RSVPing or getting the Zoom link, contact John Wickham at john@qwf.org.

About carte blanche

carte blanche is a Quebec-based online literary magazine published by the Quebec Writers’ Federation. True to its slogan—“There’s more than one way to tell a story”—the magazine presents eclectic narratives in all forms and supports Canadian and international writers and artists, bringing communities of readers new stories and voices to help make sense of life and the world. They publish 3 issues a year and accept poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, photography, translation, and comics from Canadian and international artists with a focus on Quebec-based artists.
