Stuart Ross is recipient of the Trillium Book Award, the Harbourfront Festival Prize, the Relit
Prize for Short Fiction and the Canadian Jewish Literary Award for Poetry, among others. He has authored over twenty books of poetry, fiction, and essays, the more recent being a book of poetry – Motel of the Opposable Thumbs. Ross runs the surrealist poetry imprint “A Feed Dog Book” through Anvil Press and the experimental fiction imprint “1366 Books” through Guernica Editions. He has been writer in residence at Queen’s University and the University of Ottawa, and has given readings internationally.
