Curious about the manifold mysteries of self-publishing?

Join us for Self-Publishing 101, a roundtable discussion led by four self-published authors and one editor. Each will delve into a topic of their choosing about the self-publishing industry before moving to an open discussion with the in-person audience. Participants are invited to come with questions for the discussion leaders.

Del Chatterson will discuss the importance of being entrepreneurial as a self-published author.

Laura MacAulay will talk about the importance of editing and working with an editor.

Latoya Belfon will explore author goals and publishing rights.

Don Macdonald will explain the advantages of self-publishing and the importance of producing a high-quality product.

Jim Olwell will discuss the distribution of books once published.

Whether you’re curious about self-publishing, want to better market yourself as an author, or are seeking advice from some of your fellow do-it-yourselfers, this discussion is for you.

This event is free for both in-person and online attendees. In-person spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Online attendees will be able to submit questions for discussion, but only in-person participants will be able to participate directly in the discussion. There is no limit on the number of online attendees.
