Event Category: Member Meetup

Location: Centre Sanaaq—1200 Rue du Sussex, Montreal, Quebec

Writers, bring your pitch and get ready to present it to two acquiring editors at major children’s and young-adult literature publishing houses. Meet your “date,” after which you’ll have four minutes to tell them about your book, ask questions, and get to know each other. When the bell dings, move to the next seat and do it again. Whether you find a home for your manuscript or not, you’ll make a couple of contacts and gather information that will serve you well both now and in the future.

Want to perfect your pitch? Need more info about the flow of the event? Read our tip sheet.
