Unravelling in Rhymes is a FREE creative writing workshop where we invite people of colour who identify as women, trans, gender nonconforming, 2-spirit and non-binary, ages 17-30 years old, to come together in a safe(r), non-judgmental and supportive space and share an afternoon of writing and sharing.

In past workshops we have found that this space is more one of healing, sharing our stories (sometimes for the first time), and connecting with other people of colour and creating community, more than it is about the writing we create.

Facilitator: Kat Louis
Kat Louis is a young writer, poet, spoken word performer and singer in Montreal. She’s currently pursuing a career as a therapist to work on healing immigrants and QTBIPOC fems from intergenerational trauma using community-based group therapy, drama therapy with storytelling and cognitive behavioural therapy to restore the mental health of these populations.
