Eight Voices: Finalists for the QWF Spoken Word Prize

In an exciting live event, the finalists for the second edition of the annual Quebec Writers’ Federation Spoken Word Prize will offer short performances showcasing their talents. The prize is open to all forms of spoken word performance, from storytelling to sound poetry, hip hop, and dub. Presented by the Quebec Writers’ Federation and Concordia’s SpokenWeb project.

Writing the Environment

Presented by the Association of English-Language Publishers of Quebec, this dialogic performance of poetry in English, French, and translation will imagine writing the environment. Featuring Kaie Kellough and Chantal Neveu, it will embody language in its relation to land and space, and reflect on poetry’s radical stance towards a sustainable future.
