Adam Haiun is a writer, poet, and translator. His first book, I Am Looking For You in the No-Place Grid, was published by Coach House Books in 2025.
His writing, funded by a 2024-2025 Canada Council of the Arts grant, is concerned with architecture, modernity, and the intersections between nature and the artificial, between dreams and material reality.
His pedagogy centres making students aware of their right to enjoy and critique literature, as well as create it. In workshops, he enjoys teaching craft at the level of the sentence.
He began his serious pursuit of writing at the advice of a CEGEP teacher.
