Journalism to Fiction: Turning News into Story
A practical workshop showing students how everyday events can spark fiction. Using short
news items, this workshop includes:

  • When “no topic comes to mind”: recognizing that life is full of stories.
  • How to decide who tells the story, and where to begin.

Immigrants and Storytelling: Writing Lives Across Borders
This workshop explores how personal history and migration shape storytelling. Through texts
and discussion, this includes:

  • Writing across languages and identities,
  • Shaping memory into story.

Both workshops are 60–90 minutes and include a short writing exercise.
