Daniela I. Norris is a Canadian-Israeli author and speaker. A recent arrival to Quebec, she spent the last 20+ years living in Africa, South America, and Europe. She is extremely enthusiastic about empowering young people to write. Her work has been published in magazines and anthologies and she is the author and co-author of seven books of fiction and nonfiction, all aimed at adults and ‘New Adults’ (ages 16-25). Daniela is a Goodwill Ambassador for the UK charity Children of Peace and the recipient of the 2011 John C Laurence grant from the Society of Authors (UK).
Daniela can run workshops on a variety of topics including short stories, nonfiction, political writing, and inspired writing/novels. In addition, Daniela can run a workshop on the topic of “writing about your sport as a way to help excel in it”!
She is equally happy to do readings and participate in panel discussions.
