Wiebke von Carolsfeld is a writer and filmmaker who has directed several critically acclaimed feature films (TheSaver, STAY, Marion Bridge), and won numerous awards, including Best First Feature at TIFF, inclusion in Canada’s Top Ten, and many others. She is also a renowned feature film editor, script consultant and a reader for funding agencies. Most recently, she published her first novel, Claremont.
Wiebke has taught classes on screenwriting, filmmaking, and the creative process internationally. She is available for lectures as well as writing workshops and panels. Having worked for 25+ years in the film industry, subjects for lectures/workshops could be filmmaking in general, writing (scripts as well as fiction), editing feature films, the creative process and any combination thereof.
