
Monique Polak is the author of 22 novels for young people, one board book and one non-fiction title. Monique is a two-time winner of the QWF Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Fiction. She has been teaching English and Humanities at Marianopolis College for more than 30 years. Monique is a contributor to the Montreal Gazette. She is also a columnist for ICI-Radio Canada’s Plus on est de fous, plus on lit! Monique has two new books coming out this spring: I Am a Feminist: Claiming the F-Word in Turbulent Times, and Princess Angelica, Part-Time Lion Trainer.
