Our Fall 2025 Workshops are now open for registration!
Workshops labelled “hybrid” will be held at the QWF office with up to two virtual slots for participants who can’t attend in person because of distance or disability. If you cannot attend a hybrid workshop in person and would like to request a virtual slot, contact Riley at riley@qwf.org and wait for confirmation before registering. Please do not register until after you receive confirmation of a virtual spot.
Most workshops labelled “in person only” will be held at the QWF office, except for “Gender-Free Group Loop,” which will meet at the Adair Auditorium across the hall from the QWF office.
Click each workshop below for a detailed description and pricing.

Scholarship Opportunities
All Fall 2025 scholarships have now been taken. Applications are still accepted but will be put on a waitlist.
Each workshop season, QWF offers up to eight scholarships through two programs (four scholarships each):
- Fresh Pages Workshop Scholarships, for writers who are Black, Indigenous, or people of colour (BIPOC)
- Needs-Based Workshop Scholarships, for writers who would not be able to attend a workshop without one
Scholarships are open to writers of all ages and abilities. There is no publication requirement.
Applications are assessed in the order in which they are received, so we encourage you to apply early.
Please click the links above for more information on each scholarship program.
Workshop Registration
You can register and pay for your workshop registration online by credit card or PayPal.
If you are unable to pay by credit card or PayPal, go ahead and reserve your place online and select the “pay by cheque” option when you reach the Checkout page on the screen. Payment will be due in the QWF office within 7 days of registration to secure your place.
Cheques can be mailed to:
