Today, we’re excited to introduce a new way for lovers of literature to join our community: The Friends of QWF membership category ($35 annually).
The Friends membership is designed for people who—while not writers themselves—recognize the essential role that writers play in our culture and want to support the cause, including:
- Teachers
- Librarians
- Booksellers
- Readers
- …and even relatives!
Every Friend will receive a quarterly newsletter highlighting our members’ recent book publications, awards, and other accomplishments, as well as invitations to literary events.

Expanding Our Circle of Friends
Making friends is often easier with others’ help. That’s why we’re asking our members, donors, supporters, and wider QWF community to spread the word about our Friends membership category.
To make it easy, we’ve drafted a template message you can personalize and send to potential Friends. You can simply download the message as a Word document by clicking the button below.
