Our Winter-Spring 2025 Workshops are now open for registration!

Unless otherwise stated, all workshops will be held at the QWF office with up to two virtual slots for participants who can’t attend in person because of distance or disability. If you cannot attend in person and would like to request a virtual slot, contact Riley at riley@qwf.org and wait for confirmation before registering. Please do not register until after you receive confirmation that there is a virtual spot for you.

Scholarship Opportunities

Please note that all Winter-Spring 2025 Workshop Scholarships have now been taken.

Each workshop season, QWF offers up to eight scholarships through two programs (four scholarships each):

Scholarships are open to writers of all ages and abilities. There is no publication requirement.

Applications are assessed in the order in which they are received, so we encourage you to apply early.

Workshop Registration

You can register and pay for your workshop registration online by credit card or PayPal. 

If you are unable to pay by credit card or PayPal, go ahead and reserve your place online and select the “pay by cheque” option when you reach the Checkout page on the screen. Payment will be due in the QWF office within 7 days of registration to secure your place.

Note: Please make sure you address your cheque to “Quebec Writers’ Federation” (not “QWF”).

Note to QWF members and student members: Please ensure that you’re logged into your member account on the website to receive the discount. QWF student members receive a 50% discount on the non-member workshop price.

Note to non-members: If you’re not a member yet, consider joining! The cost is only $60 for 12 months, or $25 if you are a full-time student, and you’ll receive a discounted rate on these and future workshops, as well as many other benefits.
