Farkas, Endre

Endre Farkas has been writing for over forty years and taught at the CEGEP level for over thirty. He has given workshops, lectured and performed across Canada, the USA, Europe and South America. His work has been translated into French, Spanish, Hungarian, Slovenian, Italian and Turkish. In 2012, he (along with Carolyn Marie Souaid) won the Berlin International Poetry Film Festival Prize. Previously, he won the CBC (Quebec) spoken word prize twice and was shortlisted for the A. M. Klein Prize for poetry. He is a dynamic teacher and performer who can animate students to participate.
