Scholarship Opportunities

The QWF’s Fresh Pages Workshop Scholarships for Underrepresented Writers and Playwrights offers four scholarships for BIPOC writers. 

We are pleased to offer four Needs-based Workshop Scholarships in 2021 as well.

Applications are assessed in the order in which they are received, so we encourage you to apply early.

Workshop Registration

You can register and pay for your workshop registration online by credit card or PayPal. 

If you are unable to pay by credit card or PayPal, go ahead and reserve your place online and select the “pay by cheque” option when you reach the Checkout page on the screen. Payment will be due in the QWF office within 7 days of registration to secure your place.

As the office is still closed to the public (due to the pandemic), please mail your cheque to the QWF office:

Note to QWF members and student members: Please ensure that you’re logged in to your member account on the website to receive the discount.

QWF student members receive a 50% discount on the non-member workshop price.

Note to non-members: If you’re not a member yet, consider joining! The cost is only $40 for 12 months, or $15 if you are a full-time student, and you’ll receive a discounted rate on these and future workshops.
