Lunch & Learn: Delivering and Listening to Land Acknowledgements

Land acknowledgements of today are intended to be an act of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples of the territory upon which non-Indigenous Canadians reside. In this Lunch & Learn, writer Suzanne Keeptwo will highlight essential truths and knowledge for implementing an effective, Iiving, breathing land acknowledgement. She will inspire the creation of impactful land acknowledgements intended to raise awareness about connections to, and responsibilities toward, the land.

2026 Annual General Meeting

The Quebec Writers’ Federation Annual General Meeting will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Adair Auditorium and online via Zoom. The meeting is open to all QWF members.

2026 QWF Awards Gala

Save the date! On the evening of November 9, the Cabaret Lion d’Or in Montreal will transform into a spellbinding celebration of literary excellence in Quebec. Join us as reveal the winners of the 2026 QWF Literary Awards in the categories of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, first book, translation, playwriting, spoken word, and children’s and young adult literature.
