Literary Oktoberfest

Yolk is excited to announce its third annual Literary Oktoberfest! Join us for a night inspired by the atmospheric outdoor beer gardens of Oktoberfest and designed to connect writers, agents, publishers, booksellers, and literary support organizations in the city of Montreal. The evening will begin with three keynote speakerssharing insights about their publishing journeys, and conclude with two readings by prominent authors Tara McGowan-Ross and Christopher DiRaddo. Throughout the evening there will be time to meet new writers, industry professionals, and discover what this city and country has to offer. Tickets are 10$. Limited spots available! This is an 18+ event.

Lunch and Learn with SODEP

The Société de développement des périodiques culturels québécois (SODEP) is an association dedicated to the defense and promotion of Quebec’s cultural magazines. Founded in 1978, SODEP brings together nearly 50 rich, diverse and unique magazines devoted to the arts, literature, social issues, history and heritage. Its mandate is to make cultural magazines accessible to all and to offer its members a variety of services to support their professional development.
