The Fall 2020 QWF Workshops are now open for registration!

This season, all of our workshops will be held online via Zoom.

We are thrilled to present workshops on fiction, non-fiction, long-form fiction, short prose, poetry, memoir, screenwriting, podcasting, publishing, content marketing, and game writing and interactive storytelling. Read on for an overview of our 8-week evening and weekend workshops, beginning in October.

NEW and Returning Scholarship Opportunities

The QWF’s Fresh Pages Workshop Scholarships for Underrepresented Writers and Playwrights offers four scholarships for BIPOC writers. 

This fall, we are pleased to introduce four Needs-based Workshop Scholarships as well.

Applications are assessed in the order in which they are received, so we encourage you to apply early! Please click the links below for more information on each scholarship.


Workshop Registration

You can register and pay for your workshop registration online by credit card or PayPal. 

If you are unable to pay by credit card or PayPal, go ahead and reserve your place online and select the “pay by cheque” option on the payment screen. Payment will be due in the QWF office within 7 days of registration to secure your place.

Note to QWF members and student members: Please ensure that you’re logged into your member account on the website to receive the discount.
*QWF student members receive a 50% discount on the non-member workshop price.*

Note to non-members: If you’re not a member yet, consider joining! The cost is only $40 for 12 months, or $15 if you are a full-time student, and you’ll receive a discounted rate on these and future workshops.
